Fullness & Header Style Guide

Two choices shape how your curtains actually look once hung: fullness and header style. Both are selected right in the configurator.

Fullness

Fullness is the ratio of fabric width to your track width - it controls how full and voluminous the folds look when the curtain is closed.

  • 1.5x Light - a flatter, more relaxed drape. Good for lightweight or patterned fabrics where you want the print to stay visible.
  • 2x Standard - the most common choice, full folds without excess bulk. Suits most rooms and fabrics.
  • 2.5x Full - noticeably fuller, richer-looking folds.
  • 3x Luxury - the fullest, most tailored look, typically used with lighter-weight fabrics so the stack-back at the side of the window doesn't get too bulky.

Header styles

  • Pencil Pleat - tightly gathered, rounded pleats along the top; a classic, versatile look.
  • Double Pinch Pleat / Triple Pinch Pleat - tailored pinched pleats (2 or 3 folds per pleat) for a more structured, formal finish.
  • Wave / Ripple Fold - smooth, continuous S-shaped waves; a clean modern look, usually paired with 2x-2.5x fullness.
  • Eyelet / Grommet - metal rings along the top that thread directly onto the rod, creating soft folds on their own; often looks good even at lower fullness.
  • Rod Pocket - a simple fabric channel that slides onto the rod; casual, gathers naturally as you push the fabric along.
  • Tab Top - fabric loops along the top for a relaxed, casual hang.
